MAKING A KILLING
by
ASHCROFT, JAMES (CAPTAIN)
In September 2003, James Ashcroft, a former British Infantry captain, landed in Iraq as a 'gun for hire'. It was the beginning of a journey into chaos. Here, Ashcroft provides a first-hand view of the secret world of private security where ex-soldiers employed to protect US and British interests can make up to $1000 a day.

It would be hard to find a better book that sums up just what's happening in Iraq today - and what's happening to our world with the current resident of the White House - than Making A Killing. Ashcroft is an intelligent, insightful obsereve and, after 18 months on the front line in Baghdad, he clearly knows what he's talking about. Buy this book if you want to know what's going on. I did. |
